HEELS HEALING IN UNDER A WEEK

First off a big thank you to Robin Yasinow for the great blog title. She saw our last update and came up with the cleaver wording for this update.

I’m going to start off with a personal note that I am so pleased with the progress of this heel therapy challenge. It was a bit of a challenge to put my “before”photos out on the web for everyone to see. But, I’m so glad I did because it would be harder for everyone to understand my excitement at these results without seeing where I started!

STRONG RESULTS AT 5 DAYS

I was traveling over the last several days, so I need to get everyone caught up on my progress!

left heel - 5 days of treatment

You might notice the *lovely* hotel carpeting in the shot. Just a reminder that your skin care regimen is so important when you travel. Hotel air is so dry and often air quality while traveling is quite poor. Its very important to cleanse and moisturize while traveling.

But about my feet… The change in texture has been the most dramatic difference. My heels are much softer and smoother. They actually feel better as I walk because the callus on the ridge of my heel is largely gone due to the increased moisture level.

right heel - 5 days after treatment

With my right heel you can see the significant change in coloring. The top layer of skin is largely moisturized. That glorious pink color that was not visible beneath the dry scale is returning to my heels. You can still see some rough patches of dry, dead skin that really needs to be removed, so I have decided to give myself a C’watre Pedicure and I’ll post those photos tomorrow.

PROTOCOL

My protocol, or heel therapy regimen, has remained the same with 2 pumps per heel – once in the morning and once in the evening.

ALREADY LOOKING BETTER!

I’m two days in to this dry heel recovery challenge and I thought I should update people with the progress. After all… most people are concerned with immediate results. So, I thought it would be best to show everyone what is going on Now. So I headed outside again and snapped a couple of pics this morning.

MY REGIMEN

Before I get to the photos, I want to give a quick update on what I have been doing. I’ve been applying Kanreki Cream to my heels twice a day. Once in the morning after I hop out of the shower and once more when I climb into bed. For anyone else out there trying to follow the same procedure, I am using 2 pumps of the retail cream on each heel, for each application. I started with just one and my poor dry heels just absorbed it all so quickly that I added the second pump to work on some serious repair.

THE UPDATE!

Here is my right heel again. As you can see the majority of the dry scaly skin has been moisturized and healed. The treatment that has already succeeded makes it very easy to see the most severe damage to the skin along the lower part of my heel with the dry flakes that remain still. I want to remind everyone that I have not scrubbed or used a pumice on my heels – this is just the result of Kanreki Cream alone.

Right Heel - 2 days of treatment

This next photo is my left heel and as you will recall it was the one that had the big crack that was nearly ready to break the skin. you can see what really appear to be much more dramatic results on my left heel. The crack, while still there, is already less than half its original size. You can really see how the nutrient base in Kanreki Cream is helping to repair the damaged cells and heal my skin’s structure, not simply to moisturize the scaly, flaky surface.

Left Heel - 2 days of treatment

I am so impressed with the results so far that I think I will update again in another 2 days and show people what can be done in less than a week! I’ll also update any adjustments in my use of Kanreki Cream (in case I decide to drop down to 1 pump per heel).
